Default Petition: Helms for our Paras!

Who else agrees that a new helmet or two would not look bad on our Paragons? I'm thinking ancient-greek (Corinthian) styled, as per their armour?

Don't get me wrong, I see why they have the whole Ele-thing going about their wee little heads and all, but I think that (for at least the Fissure of Woe and one or two additional armours) some combat headgear should be included. Examples below.

Should have been implemented in the 1st place as opposed to a elemental floating jem rip-off.

heh..Ele's should also get better headgear.. something more visible because at the moment if we want 15k headpiece we have to get vabian (which I have and really.. they could make something better).

Anyway, /signed for the paragon helms.. it just makes sense for them to have a helmet.

I'd love to see a little more variation in paragon headgear. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think paragons have any prestige headgear at all, right? Maybe they could add some flashy helms in as prestige stuff, like the 15k glad's helm that was added in an update a while back.

Then buy the other floating gem helm. Or hit the hide button on your own.

Frankly, this has been suggested multiple times. Get on it already a.net.

Imo a helm wouldn't fit very well with the Paragon's current availible armors. A good portion of the arms and legs are visible and I just can't see a covered head fitting in with that concept. Maybe a helm would look good with future armor sets. We'll have to wait and see.

Seeing how long it took them to get a 15k glad's helm I wouldn't get my hopes up.

The battle kilts rule, and a centurion's helm would be incredibly awesome. Heck, it's not like it doesn't already fit with the class, the Centurion's Insignia has a little helmet icon on it.

The floating gem seems a bit lazy.

Kind of related, I'm hoping that GWEN has some more para sets that don't show off the midriff on the males. I mean, it's not like I'm uncomfortable with my sexuality or anything, but I'm a bit tired of fighting while dressed like a Chippendale's dancer.

You know what would be totally rad, ANet? Full Legionaire style, helmets and all.

The Paragon armours are in-tune with certain ancient civilization armours, where only vital parts of the body were armoured (the armours were actually far more intricate than the medieval style "plate everything you see" armours). Find some pictures of ancient Greek (and specifically Spartan) units and note how their armours are similar to what we have now for the Paragon in GW, only with a helmet covering the entire head. Like so:

Wonderful idea....Paragons right now are just eles with different armor and skills...and a little more beefcake on the males. Give them helmets like they're supposed to have. I was actually surprised to see them WITHOUT centurion style helmets when I first saw them.

nice pics. Athena was the 'paragon' of the Greek warrior. If you read the Illiad, she even kicked Aries' ass.

So /signed on a helm. You can always not show it or still get the third eye on your forehead.

I always wondered why they had those Ele style jewels on their head instead of helmets.

The Sunspear recruits in Chahbek village have helms and even Kormir has something so why shouldn't we have some.
